Statue of Liberty
It's pretty much a given that you've got to visit the Statue of Liberty if you are in New York. Climbing the statue gives you a fantastic view out across the bay. To save, time, book advance tickets for the crown and pedestal to avoid the queues. The state is located on Liberty Island. Luckily it's easy to travel around NYC. To get there, you'll need to take the ferry, and you can combine it with a trip to Ellis Island as well.
Madison Square Gardens
Probably one of the most famous arenas in the world, there is always an exciting event to attend in Madison Square Gardens. Check out a new Go to watch a basketball game or a New York Rangers hockey game for an essential American experience. WWE wrestling is also a popular spectacle here, book your tickets and foam finger earlier, as this seat out very quick. Or why not grab tickets to one of the big name show, with acts such as Kanye West, Ellie Golding and Amy Schumer booked for this year alone.
New York Deli
An essential part of any New York trip is going for lunch at a deli. They are well known for their huge range and selection of different sandwich fillings, so there's bound to be something that you're going to like. To go for a quintessential New York experience make sure you choose the pastrami on rye. Try Art's Delicatessen at 20 to 90 Broadway at 82nd Street. Or The Deli at 205 East Houston Street at Ludlow Street. The latter was featured in the film when Harry Met Sally.
